The Institute would like to congratulate Vice Chair of the Board, Austin Birks, for being awarded the CIHT Bus Centre of Excellence lifetime achievement award at the Quality Bus Conference 2025 in Portsmouth.  

Austin was given this award recognising his career to the bus sector, and how his leadership and guidance have influenced countless people across the industry over four decades.
