Menlo Worldwide Logistics' Europe recorded year-on-year net revenue growth of 16 per cent in 2013.
Releasing its end of year figures, the company stated the adoption of lean principles has contributed significantly to its success.
Over the course of the year, it added over 1,000 full-time staff at its facilities through western and eastern Europe, while it also increased its warehouse capacity by 50,000 sq m.
Tony Gunn, Menlo's managing director of its European arm, said the growth strategy in place is not "over-ambitious" in terms of volumes.
"We concentrate on the development of long-term customer relationships, seeking to grow with our partners; continually reducing costs and improving efficiencies throughout their supply chains," he added.
With eight major new projects for both new and existing customers added throughout the year, Mr Gunn is confident about the future. Indeed, he stated the lean principles that have been introduced are making it even easier to manage supply chains.
