London International Shipping Week (LISW) has set the date for its next event, following the success of this year's inaugural occasion.
The upcoming occasion will not take place in 2014, but will run from September 7th to 11th in 2015.
Speaking to Bloomberg Businessweek, LISW's director and organiser of shipping innovation Sean Moloney said: "Following the success of this year's inaugural event …[we] are pleased that the decision to run the event in two years' time has the total support of the shipping industry and government."
LISW took place in September this year and was attended by shipping figures representing over 50 countries, with more than 60 panels, seminars, debates and other functions so government officials and business leaders could meet and discuss the maritime industry.
Since there will be no event next year, a special launch is going to be held instead, which will introduce the themes for 2015's conference, as well as welcoming new sponsors.
