Transport for London (TfL) has announced that there will be extra services running on the N15 route between Romford Market and Trafalgar Square from Saturday April 11th.
The move is expected to be popular with east London residents, as the busy route travels via Barking, East Ham, Canning Town, Limehouse, Aldgate, Tower Hill, Mansion House and Ludgate Circus.
Buses will now run every ten minutes instead of every 15, representing a 33 per cent increase in capacity for weekend services, and a 50 per cent increase during the week. The decision comes after other night bus routes in East London received similar frequency boosts, including the N26, N205 and N66.
John Barry, TfL's head of network development for buses, said: “To provide our passengers with the best possible service we regularly review the network. Route N15 is a prime example, with this busy route getting more frequent buses and increased capacity.”
