After the success of the first ever European Supply Chain Day this year, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport are pleased to announce that European Supply Chain Day will take place again next year on April 16th, 2015.
The inaugural European Supply Chain day took place in April, 2014 with logistics themed events taking place across Europe on the same day.
Held under the umbrella of the European Logistics Association (ELA), CILT, as the UK’s nominated member association within the ELA, will once again be the primary contact point for all UK-based Supply Chain Day activities.
Steve Agg, Chief Executive CILT, states: ‘European Supply Chain Day is a great opportunity to promote our profession across Europe and CILT look forward to working with all who wish to be involved in this exciting European development.’
The European Supply Chain Day is a unique and exciting opportunity to raise awareness of the logistics and supply chain profession and CILT encourage all levels of participation in this event.
A variety of events took place last year including open days, topical debates, visits to schools and colleges, as well as promotional video content and blog posts highlighting the opportunities in the logistics profession.
