Two new members of staff have been appointed to the senior management team of Allport Cargo Services' Airfreight Division.
Martin Brown and Sean Smith will be replacing David Ward, who recently announced his decision to retire as airfreight operations director in June 2015 following 42 years with the company, Logistics Manager reports.
Mr Brown joins Airfreight following eight years with DHL Global Forwarding and has also held executive positions at BAX Global. He will become airfreight operations director at the firm.
The post of business development director at Airfreight will be taken by Mr Smith, who joins from the main team at Allport.
Executive director at Allport Cargo Services' Airfreight Division Steve Williams said: "Martin and Sean are welcome additions to the team and I am looking forward to working alongside them both as we take Allport forward to the next level."
