Palletways has announced that it will be expanding its distribution services into Poland and the Baltic countries, including Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Services to the four countries are due to commence from next month - and the move expands the firm's coverage to a total of 18 countries throughout the continent.
UK managing director of Palletways Luis Zubialde said this expansion will serve to open up new opportunities and international markets.
Rachael Alpha, managing director of Palletways Europe, added that this comes as part of a wider strategy to enhance geographical presence, as well as enhancing customer offerings.
"This also reinforces our position as Europe's largest network for the express distribution of palletised goods. We do not intend to stop there as we are getting ready for further expansion," she commented.
Much of this will take place over the next 12 months - and Ms Alpha said she hopes this will establish the company as the pallet network of choice.
