A new international delivery service has been launched by myHermes, which targets small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular.
Dubbed myHermes International, the international network incorporates countries such as Australia, China and the US, as well as all major European states, Logistics Manager reports.
The service was launched in the light of a report that identified high demand, as 78 per cent of shoppers in the UK, France and Germany have ordered products from a foreign retailer.
Chief executive officer of myHermes Carole Woodhead said this trend is making the world a smaller place - and delivery standards have to keep up and offer a wider range of international delivery solutions.
"The demand for UK products, especially fashion items, is high and continues to grow so we wanted to develop a service that provides smaller businesses with seamless access to as many countries as possible," she commented.
