Citizen Systems Europe’s latest label printer, the CL-E720, combines functionality, reliability and smooth operation in a single, cost-efficient, compact product.
The new tabletop label printer from Citizen fulfils the market’s desire for a compact product that is big on output, accuracy and longevity yet low in cost and fuss. Easy to operate, the CL-E720 is built to withstand the specific conditions of typical logistics, warehouse, factory or retail environments.
As well as providing fast print speeds, the CL-E720 opens up from the front for easy ribbon changes and adjustments, leaving more space for other essential equipment.
A key feature of the CL-E720 is the Hi-Lift™ Active Ribbon Control & Positioning (ARCP™) mechanism, offering users a trouble-free experience where high-quality output is achieved with every print run. The 360mm x 74mm ribbon fits on easy-loading ribbon holders and retains its tension from start to finish, so print quality and positioning is of the highest and most precise standard.
The CL-E720 is one of the most energy efficient label printers available thanks to the integrated Energy Star® power supply, which provides super-low standby power consumption. It is also well served in terms of connectivity: LAN and USB come as standard, with wireless options also available, and LinkServer™ allows the user to remotely monitor the printer’s status via a web browser.
‘We are delighted to launch the CL-E720, which has been designed to be hard-wearing, compact and simple to operate with minimal user training involved,’ comments Jörk Schüßler, European Marketing Manager at Citizen.
