There is less than a month to go before the CILT North West (NW) Awards for Education and Excellence, in association with Peel Ports takes place and there have been a flurry of entries in the final week before finalists are announced.
With an increase in entries from last year, CILT President Beverley Bell FCILT and her team of judges will have their work cut out selecting winners from some stand-out entries.
Simon Reynish, CILT NW Chairman, commented: 'I am delighted that we have had so much interest in the 2015 NW Awards from such a diverse number of organisations.
'I am looking forward to an extremely enjoyable evening celebrating education and excellence in the Logistics and Transport sector, as well as raising the profile of the excellent work that our freight and passenger professionals are doing in the North West.”
The Awards, will be announced at the Gala Dinner at the Midland Hotel Manchester on 26th June, hosted by the BBC’s NW Chief Reporter, Dave Guest.
Beverley Bell will deliver the Keynote speech and the response will be supplied by CILT CEO Steve Agg.
