Eddie Stobart Logistics has reported that its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation stood at £38.5 million in the year to February 28th. 

This represents a £400,000 increase on the corresponding figure recorded one year previously, and underlying pre-tax profit now stands at £14.8 million, Logistics Manager reports. 

Revenue in the previous year was £559.6 million, while underlying pre-tax profit was £25.3 million. 

Eddie Stobart is now part of Greenwhitestar Holding Company - and in its annual report for 2014-15, the firm revealed its share of Greenwhitestar's underlying profit for the year to February 28th was £6.4 million. 

Greenwhitestar's performance was welcomed as representing a strong year's performance, with some new business wins. 

The acquisition of a rail connected site just off the A13 in Dagenham with 487,000 sq ft of warehousing - including cold storage facilities - was highlighted as one positive.
