Caledonian Logistics has placed an order with Cartwright's Scottish office for the delivery of 15 new trailers.
The order includes ten standard Cartwright curtainsiders and five double deck curtainsiders, which represents a major order for Cartwright.
In addition to this, Caledonian Logistics has maintained a position as a Cartwright rental customer for 18 months.
Depots in Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow are held by Caledonian, which has been operating for 16 years.
It has three main divisions - one for general pallet movements, another covering long distance delivery, and finally a storage division.
Managing director of Caledonian Derek Mitchell said the new trailers will largely be used for general haulage, while further trailers will be rented on an ad hoc basis.
"[Cartwright] are our first port of call due to their flexibility and availability of rental products particularly as their depot is in close proximity to us," he commented.
