Local bus operator First Aberdeen will be giving customers a chance to ‘Meet the Manager’ through a special online question and answer session taking place on Thursday 2 July.
The event has been arranged to coincide with Catch the Bus Week, which takes place from 29 June – 5 July.
The annual campaign by sustainable transport group Greener Journeys aims to drive awareness of the benefits of taking the bus.
Between 5pm and 7pm, Daniel Laird, First Aberdeen’s Commercial Manager, will be available to answer questions and respond to comments relating to bus services in the city.
Customers can interact with the managers either through using the hashtag #tweetboss on www.twitter.com/FirstAberdeen.
Daniel Laird said: 'Catch the Bus Week is a great initiative and we’re hoping our session will helping us better engage with our customers or people who want to know more about the services we operate in the Aberdeen area.
'We do take note of everything customers tell us and we are always open to constructive suggestions as to how we can make travelling by bus a more enjoyable experience. This is the first time we’ve held an online session and we’ve timed it to so that customers can engage with us while on their homeward journeys from work using the free wifi which is available on our buses.
'We’ll try and answer as many questions as we can, responding to as many queries as we can within a two hour slot. We also welcome any general or positive feedback people have too – for instance if someone's had a good journey or an especially friendly driver then it’s great to hear about that too!'
