DHL has provided major logistics solutions for the FIA Formula E Championship, delivering 40 electric racing cars and related equipment to London for the final race of the tournament.
The Global Forwarding Motorsports team at DHL has been responsible for delivering the cars to all of the ten cities that have hosted the season's 11 races so far, Logistics Manager reports.
As part of the final two races of the inaugural 2015 FIA Formula E Visa London ePrix series, the first winner will be presented on a unique and specially-created 15-turn, 2.92 km circuit in Battersea Park.
Chief executive officer of DHL Express UK Phil Couchman said: "Over the past ten months we have worked hard to deliver the first series of the championship in the most sustainable way possible."
