New LTL service between Europe and Morocco launched by XPO

07 October 2015/Categories: Industry News

XPO Logistics has announced the launch of a new pallet distribution and groupage service between Europe and Morocco.

The firm's leading less than truckload shipping (LTL) service Red Europe will take charge of the service, which allows customers to ship from Europe to any destination in Morocco.

Although there is a single-pallet minimum shipment, there are no volume limits. This means that clients with business interests in Morocco will be able to arrange regular imports and exports of goods, regardless of size.

XPO has been operating in Morocco since 2009 and offers hanging and folded garment transportation to various distribution centers across Europe for the textile industry, in addition to factory collections, quality control and direct-to-consumer shipments.

Manuel Troitino, regional director Morocco transport at XPO Logistics Iberia, said: "Looking ahead to 2016, we are working on new projects designed to further expand our footprint in Morocco to meet our customers' needs."
