Home Bargains retailer TJ Morris has made a major order with Transdek UK that will see the latter firm provide 15 double deck lifts and ancillary equipment at a new TJ Morris southern regional distribution centre (RDC). 

Over 4,000 Home Bargains stores up and down the country are currently operated by TJ Morris, which employs more than 13,500 members of staff. 

It is the second largest grocer in the UK, with a turnover of £1.5 billion and growth higher than 15 per cent per annum. 

A one million sq ft distribution centre has been constructed at Amesbury in Wiltshire to facilitate this growth. 

It went live in October 2015 and TJ Morris has now appointed Transdek to install 12 20-tonne and three 6.5-tonne double deck lifts at the RDC, in addition to a vehicle cleansing lift for jet washing and cleaning inside vehicles.
