James Thorley has been appointed to the position of Fleet Sales Manager – Bus and Coach for Scania (Great Britain) Limited.  James will now work alongside UK Bus and Coach Fleet Sales General Manager, Mark Oliver to strengthen and further develop Scania's position within the UK bus and coach fleet sales market.

James has spent the past 13 years working within the bus and coach industry and joins Scania from MAN.  Having worked primarily in a technical support role, he is experienced in all areas of the sector and has a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of the UK's bus and coach fleet operators.

"With an expanding product range and our expertise in delivering vehicles capable of operating on alternative and sustainable fuels such as biodiesel and gas, this is an exciting time for James to be joining Scania bus and coach," comments Tony Tomsett, Scania's Bus, Coach and Engine Sales Director.  "His experience complements that of our existing team and we now look forward to increased success as he settles into his new role.  On behalf of all of us within Scania's bus and coach team, I wish James every success for the future."
