Iveco has launched its exclusive zero-emissions vehicle - the New Daily Electric - for the European market.
This comes in the wake of the success of the firm's previous model, the New Daily, which was awarded the prestigious International Van of the Year 2015 prize.
New Daily Electric is 100 per cent electric and makes no carbon emissions, guaranteeing maximum sustainability and superior levels of reliability.
Iveco says this makes it the ideal vehicle for urban missions, including door-to-door package delivery and passenger transport.
High-efficiency, low-weight electric auxiliaries are included in the van, which help to significantly reduce energy consumption.
Another major new feature is the Regenerative Braking system, which gives the driver the option of which braking method to use while driving, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Iveco unveiled the van at this year's Ecomondo - the 19th trade fair dedicated to green economy.
