Parcel carrier Yodel has announced its investment in three new 'super' service centres in Livingston, Waltham Cross and Southwark.
The permanent new locations are strategically located to support the firm's capability and help it deliver up to 4.9 million parcels per week in the build-up to Christmas.
This comes in the wake of larger services centres having already been opened up by the firm in Northampton, Selby, Farnborough and Alfreton.
A total of seven new sites have helped bolster Yodel's capacity by 22 per cent over the course of 2015, reducing the need for additional temporary sites.
Executive chairman of Yodel Dick Stead said this is part of his firm's wider plan to increase the quality of service centre infrastructure, as well as adding capacity.
"With our long-term goals focused on providing excellent customer service, these developments demonstrate the on-going commitment Yodel has to consumers," he commented.
