Diageo's STP director is set to look at the ways the company can achieve real time, end-to-end visibility of the supply chain.
This has been reported by Logistics Manager, which says that Adam Smith, as Diageo's STP director, will be doing this to attempt to understand the transparent nature of the consumer market at next year's Logistics & Supply Chain conference in London, in April.
During his talk he will also look into how the brand can increase service performance in order to benefit the supply chain industry as a whole.
Other companies presenting at the two-day annual conference include supply chain professionals from Lego, Nestle, Ocado and Whitbread.
Those who have won categories in the Supply Chain Excellence Awards from this year will also be attending the conference, detailing to others the strategies that have seen them rise to the top of their respective industries.
