The UK's largest independent popcorn maker, Tommy Tucker, has signed a new 10-year lease on 41,000 square feet of warehousing space in Sheffield.
The company is relocating from a smaller site in Worksop and its new warehousing will be in Target Park on the North Anston Trading Estate, reports Logistics Manager.
Currently, the company employs around 100 people and is enjoying success as a supplier of popcorn, baked goods and confectionery to major cinemas all across the UK.
Local Sheffield newspaper The Star has said that Tommy Tucker will be taking up the space of units one and two in the North Anston Trading Estate and will be using the facility as its flagship storage, manufacturing and distribution facility.
The move to a bigger warehousing facility is part of the company's wider plans of expansion throughout this year and the next.
David Gregg, the managing director at Tommy Tucker, said: "The company is in a position to capitalise on its success."
