New Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Kevin Richardson, has been confirmed as a speaker at the Microlise Transport Conference, now the largest road transport conference in Europe.
This will be among the first opportunities to hear Kevin speak publicly about his vision for the CILT and the key issues facing the logistics and transport industry.
The Microlise Transport Conference, now a key date in the calendar for transport professionals, looks set to attract more than a thousand delegates this year when the event takes place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on the 18 May, 2016.
Featuring a full day’s programme the conference is supported by focused workshops and a 3,500 square metre industry exhibition area. It will once again be chaired by Quentin Willson, one of Britain’s best-known motoring authorities, and will feature speakers from across the breadth of the industry.
“Taking on the Chief Executive role, a key part of my job is to move the institute forward. This platform at the Microlise Transport Conference enables me to reach the entire road transport industry, while they are in one place,” said Richardson. “Road transport is essential to so many day-to-day activities and is integral to the future prosperity of the UK. I am looking forward to speaking at the conference.”
