Business post and delivery service Whistl has signed a seven-year contract with life insurance company Aegon.
Whistl will now be collecting, sorting and transporting items on behalf of Edinburgh-based Aegon, dealing with ten million of its items each year, reports Logistics Manager.
Operating throughout the UK, "Whistl has gone from strength-to-strength in Scotland since we opened our first depot ten years ago," says Nick Wells, CEO of Whistl.
Speaking on the new deal with Aegon, Mr Wells commented that it was a reflection of the "professionalism of our team and trust the client has in us to deliver a high-quality service".
A good year for Whistl, the company has also signed a contract with Dixons to deliver 20 million of its items per year.
Other new business comes from Secured Mail, with which Whistl has signed a 37 million item per year contract.
The company has renewed contracts with several companies including Sky, the AA, Direct Wines and various banks, among others.
