The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is delighted to announce that Harriet Burrows will run the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon to raise money for Aspire. She will take on the 26.2 mile challenge on Sunday 24th April and is calling for your sponsorship to help inspire her around London’s landmarks.
Aspire is a charitable careers foundation within CILT that provides funded opportunities for education, training and development to UK and international applicants.
After completing two marathons (Manchester and York) in 2015, Harriet is excited and determined to conquer the Capital’s famous route.
She said: “I am delighted to be running the London Marathon raising money for Aspire. The charity offers funding to people interested in pursuing a career within the logistics and transport industry that otherwise would not have been able to pursue their career goals and it is really making a difference globally.”
Harriet is heavily involved within the transportation sector and in her role as Associate Director, AECOM, she oversees the provision of input for the feasibility and master planning stages, the design of innovative access solutions and the application of tried and tested travel planning techniques.
