What you can measure, you can manage…

31 May 2016/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Institute News

3T has been solving practical logistics questions in partnership with clients such as JCB, Linpac Packaging and British Gypsum for the past 16 years. Focusing on key business drivers of growth, availability of cash and profitability, 3T has created a modular transport management system solution which adds value at each stage of the fulfilment process. It is this approach which has led to the creation of the 3T DOCK solution.

DOCK can now be downloaded from 3T’s website allowing new and existing users instant access. It allows shippers, carriers or customers to book available slots from a pre-determined, site specific, schedule either manually or as part of an integrated transport management solution. DOCK functionality includes:

  • Configurable slot timings
  • 3rd party register and login functionality
  • User rights so suppliers only view their booking information
  • Inbound and Outbound booking slot availability
  • Arrival on-site notification
  • Block bookings for fixed collection slots
  • Stand trailer and Ex works functionality
  • On time arrival, loading and departure reporting

For further information on DOCK, 3T will be holding a CILT event at their premises in Leicester on Tuesday, 14 June 2016.
