APICS and CILT(UK)

The partnership between APICS and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT(UK)) provides increased availability of education, certification and membership programmes for professionals in operations and supply chain management throughout the United Kingdom.

APICS is now part of the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). They aim to provide the industry-leading APICS certifications and training. APICS

The Association for Operations Management is a global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its training, internationally recognised certifications, comprehensive resources, and a worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals covering all aspects of operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing and logistics.

The APICS mission statement cements their commitment to the continuous improvement of the industry: “APICS builds knowledge and skills in operations management professionals to enhance and validate abilities and accelerates careers. APICS in-house training

Facilitated through a series of online digital classrooms with guided independent participant study in between sessions, CILT (UK) are able to provide in-house training for the APICS CPIM Part One and part Two. 

CILT will be responsible for providing:

  • The Trainer
  • The Participant Guide
  • Exam Credit
  • Memberships
