Which level should I take?

Starting out in the sector?

The Level 3 qualifications provide a sound foundation for a career within transport, logistics and supply chain, developing and expanding core knowledge and offering an introduction to supervisory and managerial levels. 

Looking to progress?

The Level 5 and the Level 6 qualifications are designed for more experienced practitioners and managers.

Are the Institute’s qualifications recognised nationally and internationally?

In short, ‘yes’, as the qualifications are respected around the world and the Institute has many overseas students. The qualifications are regulated and are developed working closely with leading industry representatives to ensure currency and relevance. 

Qualifications offered by CILT(UK) that meet the regulatory requirements for the design, delivery, assessment and award of units and qualifications, and are regulated by Ofqual and / or Qualifications Wales and / or CCEA Regulation. 

How will I study my qualification through the CILT(UK) Learning Centre?

The CILT(UK) Learning Centre offer our range of qualifications from Level 3 for individuals new to the profession through to Level 6 for more experienced practitioners, managers and leaders by self-study learning. There are no set enrolment dates enabling Learners to start their studies at a time that best suits them. On enrolment to the qualification Learners will be provided with course and support materials. In addition to the materials the dedicated Centre advisors will provide support throughout their studies and for academic questions Learners are allocated Development Coach which they will be able to contact via email.

Are there set start dates?

CILT (UK) qualifications are self-learning courses, which enabling you to enrol onto the qualification at a time that best suits you. 

What are the fees?

CILT(UK) Learning Centre fees and payment options can be found within the enrolment form for the qualification. Alternatively please contact the Learning Centre by telephone: 01536 740169 Or by email: learningcentre@ciltuk.org.uk.

How long will it take?

Please refer to the information about individual qualifications for details about the recommended Total Qualification Time (TQT). In addition, it is important to note that there are time limits within which the qualification should be completed; these are referred to as Registration Periods: 
 Award – 1 year
 Certificate – 2 years
 Professional Diploma – 3 years
 Advanced Diploma – 3 years

How are the qualifications assessed?

CILT(UK) Learning Centre uses the Institute Assessment Route. This means that all qualifications are assessed by either examinations, assignments or a mixture of the two. These are set and marked by the Awarding Organisation.
