Simulation is essential in today's
fast changing and unpredictable business, social and political environment. It
is an indispensable tool for managing risk in our global supply chains and
supports cap-ex and op-ex decisions: where millions of pounds of investment are
at risk if the design of facilities or process lines is not right first time at
commissioning; where time to market for new products and services is decreasing
continuously; where aligning product design with the manufacturing process
design over the entire lifecycle of both the product and the process is
critical.
The Simulation Pocketbook, developed by the CILT Simulation Forum, addresses: model definition, data
collection, model build and validation, experimentation and analysis,
communication and implementation and the future of simulation.
The Pocketbook is available to both members and non-members, but non-members are required to provide their contact details.
