The Group is also a UK rail operator, directly running the East Midlands Trains network and part of a partnership between Stagecoach and Virgin which jointly runs the West Coast inter-city rail franchise.

In North America, the Group operate the megabus.com inter-city coach brand, as well as commuter, tour and charter services.
