Join us on a visit to explore the Airlander Technology Centre to explore an innovative solution for the future of logistics and freight.

Hybrid Air Vehicles is a UK-based leader in sustainable aircraft technologies and the company behind Airlander, a family of ultra-efficient aircraft capable of delivering zero emissions flight across eco-tourism, logistics, regional passenger transport, and defence. HAV’s first production aircraft, the Airlander 10 will deliver 100+ seat passenger mobility, a ten-tonne payload of freight transportation, or a combination of the two. From there the aircraft scales to much larger payloads without having to get much bigger. Larger Airlander variants will be able to lift 50+ tonnes and will be well-suited to the logistics and freight market, offering an option in the gap between slow, cost-efficient surface transport, and fast, but expensive and carbon intensive air freight.

Together with hearing about the technology and future of this unique aircraft, delegates will have the opportunity to tour the centre and look at major components and hard structures from the prototype aircraft - including the original payload module and propulsors – together with a life size mock-up of the production standard cabin for tourism.

“Airlander is a hybrid aircraft offering an unmatched combination of payload volume, payload weight, and range. An aircraft that will support mainstream logistics accelerate high value supply chains off ships, taking weeks to reach their destination, into the air at a fraction of the cost and emissions of current air freight options.

It can land and take off from any relatively flat surface - grass, tarmac, sand, marsh, ice or water, minimising needs for new built environment or hard infrastructure and opening up direct connections to points of need. 10-tonne, 50+ tonne and 200+ tonne versions will be available.”

Hybrid Air Vehicles are keen to engage with logistics experts to jointly explore use cases and benefits for larger payload versions of the aircraft. This is a great opportunity to find out more about a future, sustainable mode of freight transport and potentially input into future development directions through the Airlander Futures Network.

Numbers for this event are limited so don’t delay booking a place on this first CILT visit to Hybrid Air Vehicles!
