Visit to SEGRO Northampton and Maritime Transport, a new 5m sqft. Logistics Park

SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton is a large-scale brand new logistics park located adjacent to J15 of the M1 with a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) that has been designated as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and has a Development Consent Order (DCO) permitting the development of up to 5 million sq ft of logistics and warehouse buildings. With direct rail access to the West Coast Mainline (Northampton spur) which will enable the distribution of goods nationwide, the site will provide employment space for over 7000 jobs.
Following on from an earlier meeting in September 2024 when construction was still ongoing, this visit will give further background to the build programme now that the site is complete, enable an overview of the how the site will operate as occupation ramps up, and gives a fantastic opportunity to visit the Maritime Transport rail freight terminal, sitting in the UK’s logistics ‘golden triangle’. Please note due to space constraints, a maximum of 25 delegates can be accommodated.
