PhD holder in corporate social responsibility (CSR), an MSc Graduate in Supply Chain Management; a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS). Ben has held membership of these professional bodies for over 25 years, playing an active role, in various capacities whilst serving on the executive committees. As an executive member of professional institutes like CILT, (UK) and CIPS (MENA) region, he has served as Honorary Secretary and Chair CILT Zimbabwe; Regional Officer, Central Southern Region UK and was a member of the International Education Standards Committee for CILT International. Has participated in reviews of Educational Standards and Learning Materials. Specialist in strategic supply chain management, design, implementation and operational performance for both public and private sectors. Sound knowledge and practical experience in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Central Asia.

Currently Academic Programme Chair for Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Business School at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the UAE. He has presented at a number of international conferences and published articles for academic and professional publications.

Dr. Sathya Menon is a trailblazer in logistics and supply chain education in the Middle East with 25+ years of experience (including consulting and training) in the field of Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Procurement. He has worked with various MNCs like Ericsson, Compaq and large conglomerates like Samtel, Al Futtaim helping them to expand their Supply Chain operations.

With his strong expertise in procurement, he has assisted several organizations including Siemens and Al Futtaim to develop procurement audit plans and reduce financial risks to a great extent. He has personally trained more than 30,000+ professionals in the field of Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain.
