The humble Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an often overlooked but nonetheless essential part of today’s supply chain. In seeking ever greater efficiencies, organisations are reviewing their WMS, realising the integral role it plays in this area.
The mission of the Warehouse Technology Forum is to inform, educate and support the logistics industry in achieving excellence through shared experience, practical knowledge and best practice in all aspects of these warehouse applications and technology.
The aim therefore is to better equip the logistics professional to make the right decision for the business, be it to improve what they have through new technology or improved business process, right through to entirely new solutions.
The Forum provides visibility to new technologies as well as real-world experience of WMS implementation and continuous improvement. Through informative presentations and lively panel discussions the aim is to educate members in both leading-edge and day-to-day information technology issues that are of importance to the warehouse - now and in the future.
Forum events are user-driven and requests for areas to be covered are always welcome. If you are a logistics professional and would like to know more about new technologies on the market before investing, or are seeking ways to sweat your existing WMS asset then the Forum is the ideal opportunity.
