£45,000pa + benefits
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing GNFR category strategies providing best long-term value for a UK Retailer. You will need an understanding of category management principles and delivering category strategies, combined with excellent stakeholder relationship building skills, to develop and implement category plans with internal customers. You’ll negotiate GNFR contracts and service level metrics with suppliers to ensure ensuring maximum value and cost savings. Essentially, applicants need a proven track record in delivering cost savings. A comprehensive legal knowledge of supply contracts with the ability to negotiate and agree T&Cs for complex contracts is also essential along with strong influential skills to gain stakeholder buy-in.
