London Hire Community Services is a leading passenger transport provider specialising in fully accessible transport services to Public Sector organisations across the South of England.

We are providing nearly 1 million passenger journeys each year, from 7 depots utilising a fleet of circa. 170 specially adapted vehicles ranging in size from MPV’s to Midicoach’s, complemented by a subcontracted fleet of over 150 taxis and minicabs.

To undertake these services, we directly employ over 450 drivers and passenger assistants who are managed by a back office team of 25 transport managers, assistants, co-ordinators and administrators, all working together to deliver the quality our company has been built upon.

Our vehicles are sourced through the London Hire group on flexi leases allowing London Hire Community Services to adapt immediately to changes in demand. Flexibility within a contract is our USP, allowing for long contracts to ensure stability and continuity, but provide our clients with complete vehicle flexibility. This flexibility also ensures that the company only operates emission compliant vehicles.

We currently operate the first accessible fully electric minibus in the UK. The EV provides a shuttle service in central London for the Tate Modern Gallery. London Hire Community Services is committed to providing more specialist EV’s in central London to complement a large fleet of EURO VI vehicles.

Our services now include fully managed transport services for the public sector through Joint Venture partnerships. This provides a Local Authority with a trading facility that will reward innovation with a share of profits made that can be used to reduce statutory service costs over future years. A business model that provides transparency and rewards for operating Public Sector contracts, as well as compliance and experience.
