This CILT(UK) accredited course forms the top level of the Morley Consulting Career Pathway.

Overview

The course is designed with business in mind, covering the full range of skills in a concise and targeted manner, keeping time away from the workplace to a minimum.

It aims to give you the knowledge and tools needed to fulfil a commercial Trade Compliance role in any international supply chain efficiently and effectively, obtaining the best outcomes for your organisation and customers.

Compliantly leveraging trade agreements, international trade regulations, and customs legislation is critical to creating competitive advantage in today’s modern supply-chains no matter whether your business is a start-up or an established global corporation. Risk reduction both of supply-chain interruption and potential penalties is essential.

This exciting, industry leading, pragmatic Diploma addresses the practical requirements for a wide variety of products and sectors from high-tech military goods to cups and saucers and everything in between. Achieving the Diploma will allow you to prove to employers that you have the knowledge and skills needed to attain and maintain compliance in this essential but complex field in any environment or business sector.

Setting the standard for professional competence in commercial operational Trade Compliance, emphasis is placed on understanding the legal requirements and options, being able to assess whether or not they apply to a given situation and what benefits, risks and drawbacks the use of the different options will produce.

The programme is taught by an experienced industry professional from a pragmatic and practical view point and is also designed to meet the requirements of the EU Customs Competency Framework for the Private Sector.

The course is kept fully up to date with changes to UK Export Control and Import Control legislation.
