CALL FOR PAPERS
The 26th Annual Conference of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Logistics Research Network (LRN), will take place from the 7 to 9 September 2022 at Aston University. The pandemic has caused wide-spread and ongoing supply chain challenges, putting pressure on organisations (and governments) to rethink their supply chain designs and innovate in the way they operate within their facilities and work with their suppliers. Innovation starts with people; there is a need for academics to influence both the practice and theory of supply chain management, creating innovative models to help organisations become more resilient and perform at optimum levels.
LRN 2022 will debate and critique the whole range of contemporary issues associated with ‘innovation’. Papers may explicitly address ‘innovation’ in supply chains, or indeed concentrate only on one aspect of the myriad of topics that contribute to our understanding of improving logistics and supply chains. The topics covered (but not limited to) are listed below:
