Established  in 1770, MacAndrews  today is a provider of door-to-door solutions and offers customers modes of transport that combine productivity and reliability, while taking into account environmental and technical constraints, costs, quality and security.

We specialise in 45' High Cube Pallet Wide containers, serving niche, core geographical sectors of the UK and Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Poland, Scandinavia, and Russia. MacAndrews is part of the successful CMA CGM Group.

We have over 200 staff providing knowledgeable, bespoke and proactive customer service across the various levels of our clients and partners. Our container fleet is in excess of 9,000 teus in a wide array of sizes and configurations, with particular emphasis on the short-sea, Intra-European intermodal market.

MacAndrews  have in the past obtained Marco Polo funding for our activities in order to convert truck loads into more sustainable methods- Intermodal. In 2010, MacAndrews carried 166,015 teus offering customers a choice of reliable, cost effective and eco-friendly services that combined rail, inland waterway and shipping solutions in a way that optimised their CO2 emissions. The strategy led to a saving of 67% compared to using  road only transport which could have cost the environment 208,652 tonnes of CO2.
