Fujifilm UK Ltd have been members of the club for 7 years and have completed the annual benchmarking questionnaire every year. During this time, we have found the benchmark exercise worthwhile as we are able to review our own operation annually and compare with others, where relevant. It is important to remember that no two companies are the same and the individual results should be regarded as a guideline. Also, not every question will be applicable to every organisation.

Comparing our results with our previous years highlights the areas where we have improved or need to be better. Analysing the data is important as changes in customer order patterns, shipment sizes and product mix can have a measurable impact on your results.

Other benefits of the club include networking, discussing common issues which can lead to a focus forum being organised to discuss the subject in greater detail. Discussing with your peers also benefits everyone as you can keep abreast of industry developments and trends. A number of members can be customers/suppliers and this can also be beneficial in promoting genuine collaboration and developing business relationships.

The CILT staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will endeavour to assist wherever possible. The Knowledge Centre is first class and shows an array of information that is available on all supply chain topics.

Time and business pressures today do not always allow for ‘time out of the office’ but the variety of Logmark events allows the individual to be selective according to their needs and time.
