A festive 'Love Actually style' video clip (no, not that one!) has taken local social media by storm as Mancunians share the love with their city’s bus drivers.

The clip, released by local bus company Go North West, was inspired by bus driver Chris Ashton who wanted to create awareness across the city for the great work that his colleagues do throughout the year.

Rachel Heap, whose husband Mark works as a bus driver in the city, also made a surprise appearance to thank him for taking such great care of the family and to tell him how much she loves him.

The clip has already been viewed over 10,000 times and is still being shared across facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It even features Cllr Abid Latif Chohan, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, who was taking a look around the Christmas market the day the filming took place, and Sean Wilson, AKA Martin Platt from Coronation Street was more than happy to join in, too!
