Logistics company Wincanton has secured a new 5-year contract extension with Cormar Carpets owner, Greenwood and Coope Limited, to manage transport and warehousing for the UK-based carpet manufacturer.

 As Cormar’s dedicated logistics partner, the contract will see Wincanton manage the distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead.

Wincanton will be delivering to over 3,000 retailers across multiple locations throughout the UK, the operations will involve over 100,000 deliveries per year.

CILT(UK) Chartered Fellow, Carl Moore, FCILT, Managing Director of eFulfilment for Wincanton, said: “We’re really proud to be renewing our contract with Cormar Carpets following our eighteen-year history together.
