HUMANITARIAN LOGISTICS CILT(UK) CERTIFICATION IN HUMANITARIAN MEDICAL LOGISTICS PRACTICES
The CILT(UK) suite of qualifications is designed for humanitarian logistics professionals and offers courses developed in collaboration with a number of leading humanitarian agencies.
The programmes are competence-based, so candidates demonstrate that they can apply the knowledge gained in a practical context.
Learners download their learning materials from a web portal and throughout the programme have access to a specialist coach, with experience of operating in emergency environments.
The learning process is centred on the study of the supply chain of a simulated humanitarian relief organisation. Learners are also provided with relevant reference material, produced in partnership with many leading relief agencies.
This qualification is aimed at humanitarian logisticians and medical specialists involved in medical supply chains. It will increase humanitarian logisticians’ and medical specialists’ ability to plan and operate medical supply, as well as safeguard against the high rate of substandard and counterfeit medical items pervading the international medical supply chain.
