With departures from stations around England & Wales, you can sit back and relax to enjoy the scenery along some of Britain’s most dramatic rail routes, including the famous Settle & Carlisle Line, the breathtaking North Wales Coast, the beautiful Conwy Valley up into Snowdonia and the Dawlish sea wall right along the sea’s edge.

Fascinating destinations

The Railway Touring Company’s destinations include fascinating historic cities York, Edinburgh, Worcester, Plymouth, Exeter and Chester.  Or, for a summer’s day out combining steam, sea and sand, step on board a steam train for Bournemouth, Weymouth, Scarborough or Minehead.

A choice of travel options

CILT members can choose from three travel options.  For a special celebration Premier Dining includes a full English breakfast and a four-course dinner served at your white linen-clad table on board.  Or, you can treat yourself to First Class, which includes morning tea or coffee with a bacon/breakfast roll and a muffin and, on the return, tea or coffee with a savoury of the day followed by a scone with butter & jam.  With Standard you have a reserved seat and the choice of purchasing refreshments on board or taking your own picnic hamper.
