Transport Manager Refresher at CILT(UK)

    Who should take a Refresher?

    • Existing Transport Managers and those named on an Organisation's Operator Licence.
    • The Traffic Commissioner's Office recommends Transport Managers complete a refresher course every 2 years to keep up with relevant changes in legislation, remain compliant with O-Licence undertakings and to ensure professional development.

    Structured into six modules over two days, you will cover the essential knowledge, principal skills and practices needed to run a compliant and efficient ‘best practice’ operation.

    Course Structure
    The Transport Manager Refresher Course takes places over two days. You must attend both days to complete the course.
    Certification
    An eCertificate of attendance will be sent to you after attending both days as evidence of your CPD.
    Knowledge Check
    Individuals will also be entered to take a Knowledge Check following their course. This is an online multiple choice, 40 question knowledge check, covering the core criteria as laid out in the accreditation. The aim is to confirm Learner’s knowledge and awareness in core areas of Transport Management Operation. An eCertificate for the knowledge check is issued by the CILT(UK) Awarding Organisation.
    Course Fees
    Non-Members: £500, CILT Members: £375, Opt-in to Affiliate Membership for 12 months £416. Course Fees include enrolment fees.

    Full Transport Manager Qualification
    Our Transport Manager (TMCPC) Qualification focuses on the skills required to deliver in the role of a Transport Manager. It is a Level 3 OFQUAL Regulated Qualification that is awarded by CILT(UK) and issued on behalf of all EU national transport departments (DfT) in the UK. It is core requirement in order to hold an Operator's Licence.

    OLAT is an online course designed to provide an understanding of the legal requirements and responsibilities that come with operating a commercial vehicle on public roads.
