Level 5 Professional Certificate in Supply Chain & Operations Management

For experienced supply chain and operations professionals looking to develop strategic capability and gain a nationally recognised qualification.

Is This The Right Qualification For You?

You're working in supply chain, logistics or operations and strategy is either already part of your role or starting to be. You're interpreting plans, managing resources, making decisions that have cross-functional impact, and you want the formal structure and recognition to match.

Level 5 takes the strategic and operational thinking you're already applying and builds it into a nationally recognised qualification. It also supports progression to MILT membership, a mark of professional competence that carries real weight with employers across the industry.

What You Will Learn

Three mandatory units completed over 12 to 14 months, developing the strategic and operational thinking expected in higher-level supply chain and operations roles.

Unit 1 — Business Environment and Strategic Thinking

How the external environment shapes supply chain activity. Strategic planning methodologies and how to apply them in an operations context.

Unit 2 — Effective and Sustainable Resource Management

Leadership, people management and sustainable practice. How to position teams and resources around operational goals while meeting environmental and ethical responsibilities.

Unit 3 — Business Planning

Tactical and operational planning along the supply chain. Demand management, quality controls, cross-functional planning and the inventory decisions that underpin it all.

I was particularly impressed by the support and guidance offered by my tutor. They were always available to answer questions, provide constructive feedback, and ensure I had the resources I needed to succeed.
