Objective:
The Senior Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the retention, growth and long‑term value of CILT(UK)’s Company Partnership portfolio. With a strong focus on account management and strategic relationship development, the role ensures CILT(UK) partners receive exceptional support, tailored solutions and a clear understanding of the value CILT(UK) brings to their organisations. The Senior Partnership Manager will also support new business sales activity, contributing to the expansion of our partnership community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management & Renewal Growth:
Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of company partners to maximise retention, renewals and account growth.
Lead partner meetings including onboarding, mid-term reviews and renewal conversations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and demonstrated ROI.
Identify upselling opportunities across CILT(UK) products and services, including training, membership, events, advertising and professional development initiatives.
Build multi‑stakeholder engagement within partner organisations to strengthen strategic alignment and long-term value.
Monitor partner engagement, performance and renewal timelines using the CRM, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.
Strategic Partnership Development:
Identify accounts with strategic potential and work cross-functionally to introduce internal colleagues, ensuring wider visibility of CILT(UK)’s offering.
Support the development of partnership activation plans to help organisations maximise their benefits and drive measurable outcomes.
Maintain a deep understanding of CILT(UK)’s products, services, market landscape and competitor offerings to support informed partner conversations.
New Business Support:
Support the Head of Partnerships in progressing new business conversations, attending meetings when required and contributing to proposals and presentations.
Manage onboarding for any newly secured accounts allocated to you, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to account management.
Represent CILT(UK) at conferences, exhibitions and sector events to support brand visibility and identify potential leads.
Team & Operational Responsibilities:
Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Partnerships Team, supporting junior colleagues where appropriate.
Maintain accurate financial and CRM records, including forecasting renewals and growth opportunities.
Assist with the development of team processes, templates and best practice approaches.
Any other duties reasonably required to support the success of the Partnerships function.

Highly organised with strong time‑management, able to manage multiple accounts, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong problem‑solving skills, able to interpret engagement data and partner insights to shape account strategies.
High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in CRM updates, renewal forecasting, partner reporting and proposal documentation.
Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Confident representing an organisation externally, attending conferences, exhibitions and partner meetings as required.
Experience
Experience in B2B account management or partnership management, ideally within a membership body, professional institute, awarding organisation, or similar relationship-led environment.
Strong understanding of how membership organisations operate, including membership value propositions, renewal cycles, professional standards, CPD, and member engagement models.
Experience or interest in the supply chain and transport profession.
Experience building multi-stakeholder relationships across different organisational levels.
Demonstrable experience using CRM systems to maintain accurate data, track engagement and forecast renewals.
Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with marketing, events, training and product teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients or members.
