Part 2 of the Rail Freight Forum’s webinar series, Uncoupling with Intent – Managing Strategic Break‑Ups in Rail Freight, will take place on 7 July. This session focuses on how Freightliner’s intermodal business is being taken forward following the restructuring that enabled the sale of the container operation to CMA CGM, completed in January 2026.
The webinar will be presented by Peter Graham, Policy & Government Affairs Director at Freightliner, who will outline the strategic direction of the intermodal business post‑transaction, the priorities now shaping its development, and how both successor companies are positioning themselves for the future. He will also reflect on the transition period that followed the separation of the bulk materials operation into a standalone division.
