Travel Demand Management Forum
The Travel Demand Management Forum focuses on influencing travel behaviour and transport demand to achieve more efficient, sustainable systems. It shares knowledge and tools for strategic planning and innovation across the sector.
Purpose
TDM presents a powerful and effective tool that can mitigate the impact of roadworks on customer satisfaction, improve congestion on roadworks areas, and help mitigate associated environmental impact, and contribute to the effective delivery of roadworks schemes.
As this professional discipline continues to grow and is supportive and relative to many other Logistics and Transport disciplines and areas, CILT(UK) wants to ensure that our Members and Volunteers can learn more, share more and benefit from a Forum with TDM at its centre.
Objective
Travel Demand Management (TDM) aims to influence transport demand, by addressing travel behavior (how, when, why and where people travel) in order to increase the transport system efficiency and achieve specific planning objectives.

I am hugely looking forward to investing energy and passion into the events coordinator role in this Forum as I thrive on networking, sharing knowledge and socialising with like minded TDM professionals!
