Volunteer with us

There are a number of Volunteer Roles and Opportunities available that can allow you to share your expertise, knowledge and passion with other CILT(UK) Members and the wider Professions.

  • Professional Sector Forums

We support 18 Forums made up of Volunteer Communities who work in and support specific Professions and or specialism within a Profession. These include, Retail Forum, Transport and Logistics Safety Forum, Bus and Coach Forum, Rail Study Forum to name a few.

  • Diversity & Inclusion Forums

CILT(UK) is dedicated to moving forward the Diversity and Inclusion agenda in the Logistics, Supply Chain Operations and Transport Professions. Our Accessibility and Inclusion Forum is a space for all those working and supporting these professions.

  • Location

We support Volunteer Communities across the UK from Scotland to Northern Ireland, from London to Liverpool. These Communities are made up of knowledgeable and dedicated Volunteers who deliver a range of meaningful and valuable activity for Members in their area, and now with the ‘ magic’ of online events; and beyond!

  • Public Policy Groups

CILT(UK) public policy is solely lead and developed by our members, who collaborate within a number of policy groups. Member input into policy reports and consultation responses ensures that CILT(UK) reflects the current concerns of the supply chain, logistics and transport professions. We are always seeking fresh volunteers who relish the opportunity to lead our work.

Volunteering with CILT(UK) has hugely expanded my professional network, providing me with access to many key industry players and greatly boosting my awareness of emerging trends, challenges and opportunities.
