David Hunter CMILT has been the Convener (Chair) of the volunteer group Living Streets Edinburgh for five years. He was the founding Director of what is now the Transport for All charity and subsequently worked for many years leading a range of transport services for Edinburgh councils before leading governance, business and strategic planning roles at the National Library of Scotland.

He is particularly interested in accessible transport and streets and won the inaugural Volunteer of the Year Award from Paths for All for his work on reducing pavement clutter. He now works part time as a consultant specialising in inclusive streets and transport.
